I didn't start as a leader. I started as someone picking up phones.
My journey from the ground floor to the executive level wasn't linear or inevitable. It required three things: persistence through setbacks, willingness to reinvent myself multiple times, and commitment to continuous learning.
Most people peak early because they stop evolving. I've seen incredibly talented agents plateau because they refused to develop new skills. I've also seen average performers become leaders because they kept learning and adapting.
Persistence means staying in the game even when growth feels slow. Reinvention means acknowledging that what got you here won't get you there. Learning means reading, seeking feedback, taking courses, and building new capabilities constantly.
The fact that I started answering phones didn't limit my ceiling. The willingness to keep developing did the only thing that could have.
